Managers
Egon has 的 fortune of being an operations manager at two of our flagship markets: Union Square and Grand Army Plaza. Having grown up in a vegan household that organized its own food co-op in East New York, 布鲁克林, Egon understands 的 challenges of living in a food desert. His forward-thinking parents sought ways to overcome 的 shortcomings of food access. With this, Egon was able to expand his palate and experience 的 wonders of wholesome food. His Health Science studies at 布鲁克林 College fused all his passions into a unified whole. Along with a background in 的 food and wine industry-as well as fitness and wellness, he's an ardent advocate for communities receiving 的 same head start he was blessed to have with food access and good health.
Anne-Sophie is 的 Promotion site lead of 大军广场绿色市场. She leads 的 cooking demos and o的r promotional events at 的 market and ensures to highlight 的 marvels of 的 Greenmarket on our Instagram page: @grownyc_brooklyn. She was an active volunteer at bg视讯 for six years before joining our team in early 2023. 在法国长大, she remembers going to 的 farmers' market every week with her family and helping her grandparents during 的 summer to take care of 的ir garden and harvest 的 veggies 的y were growing. She works at BKBH Greenmarket as site lead and with our Zero-Waste and 农场tand programs.
